The term, “Mystery” is sometimes used to put an entire arena of life “off limits.” A mystery, by definition, cannot be understood so it must be irrelevant. This is tragic.
A mystery cannot be understood by a grasping conditioned mind, but it can be experienced and it can provide the essential foundation for a human life. The Mystery Lao-Tzu speaks of is the foundation of all belonging. It is the essence of the belonging for which we seek.
