Walking the Tao – Chapter 38

Lao-Tzu is sometimes considered the “first anarchist.” He believed that a small village was the best expression of human community. He felt that humans had a natural virtue that becomes submerged when society becomes too complex. What would he think about today’s world? Is there any possibility of rediscovering that inner authority that is innate to each of us? How do we navigate the complexity without an inner authority?
