Philosophical knowledge of the mysterious universe is not truly knowledge. Knowledge of the way our minds have created illusions and distortions that make us suffer – that is truly knowledge. But self-knowledge, though it sounds wonderful, requires courage and patience. It is not an easy knowledge to acquire.
