The smoke from a multitude of summer fires has dimmed my vistas and clouded my mind for weeks. A rain came a few days ago and I now see clearly across the pasture to Black Butte. I also see the stars in the early morning. The wait has made it all into a simple and special blessing. (Sept 24, 2021)
