Walking the Tao – Chapter 34

What does the Divine Tao require of me? Absolutely nothing! No worship. No way to please or displease it. No service rendered to it. No obedience to it. No way to honor it. It needs and wants nothing from me, because it IS me. The only thing I’ve ever found that might be an appropriate response to the wonder of it All, is a grateful immersion in the marvelous and awful experience of life.
